Job Title: Quality Inspector

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer the standard Pactiv Evergreen QC protocols for the press and sealing departments.
  • Work with production crews to improve our product quality standards.
  • Perform routine QC floor checks during each shift.
  • Train production team members on product quality standards and quality control procedures.
  • Develop a high level of personal responsibility for product produced at our facility.
  • Make quality dispositions on off-specification product - Waste, Sort, Ship.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Use QA computer programs for tracking inventory and quality records.
  • Develop good work habits - self-motivation, teamwork, communication skills, etc.
  • Provide feedback to all suppliers on quality issues.
  • Provide feedback to production crews on quality performance (complaints and holds).
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of our QC floor checks.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of record-keeping abilities - log books, filing paperwork, organizing records, etc.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time performing quality checks.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and require little outside instruction.
  • Ability to read and understand quality manuals and establish procedures where needed.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ensure safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervision or operator.
Preferred:
  • At least two years of experience in a production quality workspace.
  • Well-organized and history of showing initiative.
  • Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations.
