Work Environment:

This position involves on-site work at various customer locations, including some overnight travel, approximately 40% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct calibrations and measurements using appropriate reference standards, including a range of equipment from hand tools to specialized measurement fixtures.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and operational checks on equipment.
  • Document calibration results using tracking software.
  • Collaborate with the technical team and scheduling department to manage scheduling conflicts.
  • Engage with customers to understand their calibration needs.
  • Communicate daily with the technical team regarding calibration status and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.
  • Safely operate mobile calibration laboratories in compliance with local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Set up and maintain mobile laboratories as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in calibration, technical trades, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and calibration processes.

  • Technical education or military training in relevant fields.
