About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Engineer to join our team at Skanska USA. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to reduce our environmental impact and promote sustainable practices in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives across our projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to educate them on green building strategies, systems, and standards
  • Assist in tracking and documenting project sustainability goals and progress towards certification-based efforts
  • Lead the collection and reporting of carbon data to support our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions
  • Support training and research for the Green Project Solutions team
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in building construction or sustainability-related field
  • Experience with benchmarking and carbon emissions tracking in construction processes
  • Experience working on LEED projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 8 years of equivalent experience
