About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hauling Manager to join our team at Metromont, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing hauling staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate hauling operations to meet company standards and deadlines.
  • Read and interpret erection drawings to ensure accurate placement of precast concrete pieces.
  • Update tracking spreadsheets to optimize yard space and minimize delays.
  • Coordinate with the Tool Room to unload materials and equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve customer or shipper complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Arrange for repairs and routine maintenance of transportation vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation-related regulations, safety rules, and government regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicles, schedules, and completed orders.
  • Stay up-to-date on all safety regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with eligible third-party DOT drivers.
  • Verify and maintain accurate driver qualifications.
  • Ensure all records are accurate and complete.
  • Adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous transportation experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical information.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
