With nearly a century of experience, we have grown into a third-generation enterprise employing approximately 1,500 professionals across multiple manufacturing sites in the Southeast. Our expertise lies in the engineering and production of precast concrete, and we pride ourselves on being a reliable partner throughout the construction process, from initial design to project completion. Our services extend beyond precast production to include design, engineering, hauling, and field services, ensuring we meet the comprehensive needs of our clients across various sectors including commercial, residential, and institutional projects.



Key Responsibilities of the Hauling Manager Include:

  • Strategically plan and oversee hauling operations to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Interpret erection drawings to manage the storage of finished products effectively.
  • Maintain an updated tracking system to optimize yard space utilization.
  • Collaborate with the Tool Room for efficient unloading of materials upon delivery.
  • Investigate and resolve any customer or shipper issues promptly.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for transportation vehicles.
  • Adhere to all transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Maintain organized records of vehicle operations, schedules, and completed deliveries.
  • Stay informed about current safety regulations and practices.
  • Develop and sustain partnerships with qualified third-party DOT drivers.
  • Ensure all drivers possess the necessary qualifications and certifications.
  • Keep accurate documentation and records.
  • Uphold all Metromont and OSHA safety standards.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to keep the work area and equipment orderly.
