As a third-generation enterprise with around 1,500 employees across multiple manufacturing sites in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia, we specialize in the engineering and production of precast concrete. Our mission is to be a reliable partner, collaborating closely with clients from the initial design phase to the final handover of completed projects. Beyond precast concrete production, we offer our clients comprehensive design and engineering, hauling, erection, and field services to meet their full construction requirements. Key Responsibilities of the Hauling Manager:

  • Oversee, organize, and manage hauling personnel to ensure tasks are executed in alignment with company standards.
  • Interpret erection plans to accurately position finished products based on dimensions.
  • Maintain and update tracking systems to monitor yard space availability.
  • Collaborate with the Tool Room to facilitate the unloading of materials upon arrival.
  • Lead investigations to address and resolve customer or shipper inquiries.
  • Coordinate repairs and routine maintenance for transportation vehicles.
  • Adhere to transportation regulations, safety protocols, and governmental guidelines.
  • Maintain organized records of vehicles, schedules, and completed shipments.
  • Stay informed on all safety regulations.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with qualified third-party DOT drivers.
  • Ensure all drivers possess current and valid qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Comply with all Metromont and OSHA safety standards.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as necessary to keep the work area, tools, and equipment orderly.
