Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Contact Center Representative to join our team at Neighborcare Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional customer service and patient engagement to low-income and underserved populations in a virtual call center setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of calls in an inbound, fast-paced contact center environment
  • Schedule new and returning appointments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Provide registration services and guide patients through the registration process
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource to patients via telephone interactions, providing patient engagement, education, and inspiring confidence in Neighborcare services
  • Resolve patient requests in one call/contact or successfully manage prolonged or complex issues
  • Gather information for accurate documentation of calls and enter into the proper database
  • Coordinate with internal eligibility department to ensure applications for coverage are initiated prior to appointment
  • Coordinate with Interpreter Services as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
  • One year of experience in a customer service setting (preferred)
  • Bilingual skills (preferred)

Compensation

The wage range for this position is $19.97 - $26.18 per hour, with compensation determined based on years of relevant experience.
