About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Contact Center Representative to join our team at Neighborcare Health. As a key member of our virtual call center, you will provide exceptional customer service and patient engagement to low-income and underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced contact center environment
  • Schedule new and returning appointments in our electronic health record system, following established guidelines
  • Provide registration services and guide patients through the registration process
  • Be a knowledgeable resource to patients via telephone interactions, providing education and inspiring confidence in Neighborcare services
  • Resolve patient requests in one call or contact, with a focus on managing the customer experience and emotion
  • Coordinate with internal eligibility department to ensure applications for coverage are initiated prior to appointment
  • Participate in required training programs, including annual Safety training and HIPAA and Compliance training
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in customer service
  • Bilingual skills a plus
