At Kumon North America, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Center Assistant to support our instructional and center management tasks. As a Center Assistant, you will work closely with our Center Instructor and/or Assistant Instructors to ensure the smooth operation of our learning center.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Center Instructor and/or Assistant Instructors in instructional and center management tasks.
  • Work efficiently and effectively with students to provide instruction through the Kumon Method and worksheets.
  • Ensure proper study habits and work skills are being developed and train students in center routine.
  • Individualize strategies for student development based on student goals and communication with Instructor.
  • On-going assessment of student skills development.
  • Grading of student classwork, homework, and corrections and organizing of Student worksheets.
  • Assist with book check in/out, booking Center Appointments, and assisting with the enrollment process.
  • Relay messages and Parental concerns to the Instructor or Assistant Instructor in a timely manner.
  • Prepare student files and develop own knowledge of Kumon method and worksheets.
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal communication skills, intermediate written communication skills preferred.
  • Proficient math skills a plus.
  • Proficient in basic computer usage.
  • Customer service minded individual.
