Grant Programs Manager

Overview
The State of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Grant Programs Manager. As a key member of the State Energy Office, you will play a critical role in advancing state energy policy and promoting renewable generation, efficiency, and energy affordability in Vermont.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the expenditure of federal funds and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Draft and manage grant agreements, contracts, and requests for proposals.
- Evaluate proposals, solicit applicants, and oversee the work of outside consultants and entities.
- Review and approve invoices, track expenditures, and complete reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in business or public administration, or a related field.
- Two or more years of experience in grants administration, financial management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
