Key Responsibilities:
- Actively promotes the credit union's commitment to member sales and service excellence, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets to support the financial objectives of the organization.
- Oversees the scheduling, training, and performance management of branch staff, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet operational demands.
- Conducts thorough analysis of financial data relevant to branch operations, providing management with insights and recommendations for enhancements.
- Maintains effective communication with the central office, preparing and submitting required reports, and participating in management meetings.
- Represents the branch in interactions with members, partner organizations, vendors, and other financial institutions, while actively seeking to develop new business opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures across all branch activities.
- Performs additional duties as assigned that are pertinent to the role.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related discipline is preferred, along with a minimum of two years in a management capacity. Alternatively, five years of relevant experience in leadership roles may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Comprehensive understanding of sales strategies and management practices.
- Effective public speaking skills for addressing groups of staff and members.
- Familiarity with financial institution operations and services.
- Proven ability to inspire and lead teams towards shared objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to resolve conflicts and misunderstandings effectively.
- Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Experience in roles requiring extensive public interaction.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
