Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. This role is critical for driving operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and manage rosters, ensuring that all staff members are assigned to appropriate tasks and projects.
  • Coordinate project scheduling, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are kept in optimal condition.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring that all staff members adhere to these standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures, ensuring that these are consistently followed.
  • Coordinate with other department managers to ensure that all operations are aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an operations management role within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience in roster management, project scheduling, maintenance management, and safety enforcement.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff members.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to staff members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using various software applications for roster management, project scheduling, and maintenance management.
