About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at United Community & Family Services Inc. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, client-centered care to individuals, families, and children with behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (MA, MFT, MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Connecticut (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
  • 1-3 years of experience providing counseling and therapy services in an outpatient setting, preferably in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English proficiency, with a pay differential offered for those who meet this requirement.
