The technician will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions, which include behavior management, discrete trial training, pivotal response training, social skills development, and parent education. Adherence to the service plan as outlined by the Clinical Manager is essential. Accurate data collection will be conducted throughout each session to monitor progress and determine the need for mastery checks and the introduction of new programs. A professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities are essential. The technician must maintain professional boundaries and composure while effectively serving culturally and linguistically diverse families across various socioeconomic backgrounds.

Comfort in working within the homes of families with limited resources is required. The technician should be adept at interacting with individuals and families who may exhibit uncooperative behavior. Maintaining professionalism in challenging situations, such as client aggression or tantrums, is crucial. The role involves implementing behavior modification techniques and discrete trial teaching under agency supervision. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, and engage in play on the floor for extended periods.
