Operating Room Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Grafton, Wisconsin. As an Operating Room Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced operating room environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment, preparing and draping the surgical area, and anticipating the needs of surgeons during procedures.
A key aspect of this role is working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless execution of surgeries. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities- Preparation of the surgical environment, including setup and maintenance of sterile fields
- Assisting surgeons with gowning and gloving, as well as passing instruments and supplies
- Observing and reporting any breaks in aseptic technique
- Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, including transportation of patients and equipment
- Diploma or degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided

CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, based on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, pet insurance, wellness and fitness programs, mileage reimbursement, employee assistance programs, medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, and life insurance. Additionally, we offer a top referral program and sign-on bonuses up to $12,000 for experienced candidates.
