About the Role

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA. As a Pulmonologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and treat patients in an outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Department setting
  • Interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and sleep studies
  • Prescribe medications within defined scope of practice and conduct medication reconciliation
  • Order diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, x-rays, pulmonary function tests, and sleep studies
  • Assist with other collateral duties as assigned by supervisor, Chief of Staff, or Director
Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonology
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia
  • English language proficiency - Must be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Physical standards - All applicants must meet the physical standards for the position
