About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Community Outreach and Partnerships Specialist. This role involves building and maintaining partnerships with various organizations to promote our clothing drive and sustainability programs. You will be responsible for educating and informing potential partners about the benefits of participating in these programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop prospect lists and cultivate relationships with schools, churches, PTO/PTA's, sports teams, school bands, scouting groups, and other organizations looking to raise money to support their programs.
  • Responsible for reaching goals and quotas set by the Fundraising Director.
  • Educate groups about the clothing drive program, recycling, and sustainability.
  • Arrange fundraising drives and celebrate with partner success.
  • Work with local school districts, churches, and non-profits to become partners.
  • Speaking at booster club meetings, PTO/PTA's, schools, churches, non-profits.
  • Enter daily activity and confirmed drives into CRM, work with drive team to ensure execution of drive.
  • Maintain 75-100 contacts per week, including visits, voicemail, phone, email, text, and video calls.
  • Report weekly expenses and mileage to the Sales Director for reimbursement.
  • Attend bi-weekly teleconference calls/sales-meetings with the Sales Director.
  • Inform clients of pounds collected for the drive and present checks in person, if possible.
  • Provide marketing toolkits, signs, banner flags to organizers of drives and ensure return once drives are complete.
  • Collaborate with drive organizers on advertising drives on social media and other platforms.
  • Cold call to solicit clothing drives in territories using associated demographic maps.
  • Follow up with drive organizers prior to drives to ensure all items are covered for successful drives.
  • Ensure CRM has records of all activities.
  • Travel within markets and territories is required; some out-of-market travel may be necessary.
