We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Solution Consultant to join our PI System and Information Platform Presales Team at AVEVA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and solution knowledge to support sales opportunities, demonstrate portfolio value, and grow customer trust.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver compelling demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of our industrial software solutions, including emerging technologies such as Cloud, IoT, SaaS, Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of demonstrations that prove and confirm the value of our solutions.
- Engage with prospects to understand their specific needs and lead the development of technical solutions.
- Conduct value consulting workshops and proofs-of-value with partners and customers.
- Build strong relationships with customers and develop business plans to create opportunities and improve product sales.
- Support sales growth by qualifying leads and driving revenue.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, product development, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering-related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience in solution selling, business development, and/or customer value creation roles.
- Strong industry experience in essential sectors, such as power generation and utilities, water, oil and gas, mining, metals, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, facilities, transportation, and/or food and beverage.
- Knowledge and experience working with operations information data management software, asset reliability management software, and/or plant operational data, e.g., AVEVA PI System, AVEVA Data Hub, or its equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs and problems of prospective customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team and manage multiple commitments simultaneously.
- Excellent customer-facing and presentation skills for complex technical solutions.
- Ability to translate technical topics and solutions in simple language to a variety of audiences.
- Experience working in a Presales or Sales role with an understanding of the sales process.
- Experience working with larger AVEVA operations portfolio of solutions.
- Prospects: Develop good working relationships with clients, while consistently providing the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
- Sales: Work with the Sales team in identifying opportunities, providing support at all levels of engagement, and ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible and in line with AVEVA's strategic objectives.
- Technical: Work within a dynamic team and show flexibility in the use and development of personal and technical skills to maximize the team's efficiency.
