Director of Business Development

Coster USA is seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, with experience in managing technical products and preferably in the packaging industry. You will work closely with the operations team to develop effective solutions for customers and ensure that their needs are met.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year, plus up to 20% bonus annually. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and expand customer base.
- Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify new business opportunities and pursue them through strategic prospecting and negotiation skills.
- Organize sales visits and meetings to present our products and services effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial activities and provide regular reports to the Regional Director.
- Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and network with potential clients.
- Negotiate and align sales forecasts with customers and inform operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Formulate sales budgets for different products and propose sales policies, pricing, discounts, sales conditions, and product promotion.
- Achieve objectives related to sales volume, growth, and negotiated profitability.
- Participate in the budget process and guarantee its achievement.
- Manage the various phases of the sales operation, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Research new forms of product presentation and stay updated on market research.
- E nsure that customer complaints are addressed promptly and responses are provided within agreed-upon timelines.
- Understand Coster's portfolio and be able to discuss technical solutions with customers.
- Develop and maintain market research to identify opportunities for improvement and propose, execute, and control improvement plans related to sales department.
- Propose stock levels for customers, to be negotiated and approved by Operations.
- Prepare regular reports for Regional Director.
