This position is responsible for supervising a team of Child Protection Specialists who provide family-centered services within a trauma-informed system to ensure the safety, permanency, and well-being of children at risk of or who have been subjected to child maltreatment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Child Protection Specialists to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality services to children and families.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to child protection.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure a coordinated response to child maltreatment.
- Provide training and technical assistance to Child Protection Specialists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct investigations and assessments to determine the safety and well-being of children.
- Develop and implement case plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or psychology, or a directly related field.
- Four years of experience working in child protection or a related field, including supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to child protection, including the Child Protective Services Act.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and community partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
