We are currently seeking a motivated Taxation Strategy Manager to enhance our growing Business Tax practice. Our Private Company team is built on strong relationships and a profound understanding of our clients' needs.
As a Taxation Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advising business owner clients on a comprehensive range of tax and business opportunities, including:
- Succession planning
- Wealth transfer strategies
- Tax compliance and advisory services
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the engagement team focused on various taxation structures, including Partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation, and Individual and Fiduciary Taxation.
- Planning and executing client tax engagements with precision.
- Collaborating with RSM specialists in Estate and Gift Planning, State and Local Taxation, and International Taxation.
- Providing leadership, training, and mentorship to Supervisor and Manager level team members, serving as a Career Advisor with constructive performance feedback.
- Driving growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Occasional travel may be required based on client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong emphasis on taxation and client engagement management.
- Proficiency in entity taxation (Partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation) and Individual taxation.
- Experience in private client or business taxation, with a desire to expand skills in the private client sector.
