We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Family Office Enterprise (FOE) practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our ultra-high net worth family clients.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including structuring and modeling, succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance.
- Manage and oversee engagement teams focused on entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation.
- Collaborate with RSM specialists on estate and gift planning and taxation, state and local taxation, and international taxation.
- Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members.
- Drive growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through outstanding client service.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field.
- CPA, EA, or JD required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a family office with an emphasis on taxation.
- Proficient in at least one area: entity, individual, and fiduciary taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and related tax implications.
- Familiar with multi-state taxation.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work in a collaborative team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with private client or business taxation with a desire to grow skills in the private client family office arena.
- Experience working with family office clients or experience working in a family office.
- Experience with gift and estate taxation.
