Community Manager Job Description

Bryten Real Estate Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our community, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the property team in daily operations, maintaining a motivating presence and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Establish and maintain schedules, budgets, and accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processes.
  • Coach and develop team members to create an inclusive workplace, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Manage rent collections, tenant notices, and administrative tasks, utilizing software to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Review applications, background checks, and credit reports, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
  • Prepare client reporting and documentation for review by Asset Directors, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to resident inquiries and concerns.
  • Inspect property conditions, coordinate maintenance activities, and promote a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of multi-family leasing management experience, with a strong background in property operations and customer service.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Property Management Software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.
