Vice President of Regional Operations
Overview
As the Vice President of Regional Operations, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the financial needs of our clientele.

This position is tasked with the responsibility of generating, approving, and managing customer loans while ensuring compliance with established risk standards and organizational policies.

Additionally, this role is crucial for fostering deposit transactions that support loan disbursement.

Leadership capabilities and talent development are essential, as you will represent the organization positively within the community.

- Effective management of multiple banking centers, ensuring overall performance accountability.

- In-depth knowledge of customer service best practices in a multi-branch banking environment.
- Competence in delivering presentations to management, staff, and customer groups.
- Ability to analyze and interpret various documents and reports, including statistical data.
- Proficiency in performing complex mathematical calculations related to financial metrics.
Additional Responsibilities

Uphold the organization's vision, mission, and core values while mentoring your team to do the same.

Collaborate with Community Bank Managers to identify market opportunities aligned with the strategic plan.
Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and support teams to ensure outstanding customer experiences.

Assist in the formulation of annual business plans and quarterly market strategies focused on sales and financial performance.

Goals should be tailored to market opportunities, employing targeted strategies for retention, expansion, and cost management.

Work alongside Human Resources to ensure relevant training and development programs are implemented for staff based on needs and career growth.

Provide leadership, coaching, and support to enhance staff effectiveness and promote continuous learning.

Establish sales management routines to drive performance.
Offer guidance and support to line managers in their sales initiatives.

Participate in the development and implementation of customer service standards for both internal and external stakeholders.

Act as a liaison to Marketing to enhance product and service offerings for customers.

Assist Community Bank Managers in building customer relationships.
Oversee direct reports and provide regular feedback on performance objectives to the Banking Sales Executive.
Accountable for the overall performance and profitability of assigned branches.

Understand the dynamics of each market and guide Community Bank Managers in leveraging opportunities.

Collaborate with Human Resources to design and implement recognition and rewards programs.
Partner with the Regional Senior Credit Officer to achieve commercial lending targets.

Ensure all branches are well-informed and equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for high performance.

Accountable for sales outcomes and market analysis in designated areas.
Provide timely updates to senior management regarding sales performance and future needs.
May participate as a rotating member of the Asset-Liability Committee.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across branches.
Represent the organization in community engagements.
Contribute to business development initiatives.
Willingly undertake all assigned responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee the Regional Senior Credit Officer, Senior Relationship Banker, Relationship Bankers, and Bank Managers.
Work Environment
This role operates within a professional office setting and routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this role.

Employees in this position may experience the following physical demands for extended periods:
- Viewing computer screens.
- Standing for prolonged periods.
- Intermittent typing on a keyboard.
- Traveling to various branches, customer meetings, or community events.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time role, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be necessary based on job requirements.
Travel Requirements

Employees in this role are expected to travel to branches for coaching, attend sales meetings, and assist market managers in their sales efforts.

Travel may also be required to meet with customers or prospective clients to support Bank Managers in presentations and sales of financial products.
