About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines. As a Ground Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete data entry to record work assignments and communicate with other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in a vehicle/heavy equipment maintenance environment.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields as they apply to industrial powered systems.
  • Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Detailed understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subject areas.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
