We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Associate to join our team at Barge Design Solutions, Inc. in Florida. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design of various roadway projects, including urban streets, rural highways, and complex interchanges.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the design of roadway projects, including urban streets, rural highways, and complex interchanges.
- Collaborate with project team members, client representatives, and review agencies to resolve complex problems.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, plans, specifications, and permits for projects.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Participate in project site visits with other project team members, as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited program.
- 0 to 4 years of roadway design experience. Prior internship experience is a plus.
- EIT Certification in the respective state, or an ability to obtain EIT in the respective state within 6 months of start date, is required.
- Experience using MicroStation V8i is a plus. OpenRoads experience is a plus.
