We are a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to revolutionizing dance education through technology and creative thinking. Our mission is to make dance training more accessible to aspiring students worldwide.
Our online training program offers over 1,500 classes from top dance instructors in New York and Los Angeles, while our CLI Conservatory provides an extensive in-person training program for advanced students. This 10-month pre-professional training program is designed to help young dancers launch their professional careers in the dance industry.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admissions Director to lead our student recruiting and admissions team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our admissions strategy in collaboration with our COO and CEO. Your primary focus will be on identifying and recruiting the world's best dancers to attend the CLI Conservatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and admissions strategy in collaboration with the COO and CEO
- Plan and execute key student recruitment events, including online and in-person events
- Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations that support our recruiting objectives
- Analyze and report recruiting performance metrics to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver against recruiting deliverables and objectives
- Lead the admissions team and provide guidance on admissions processes and procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in management roles in business operations, sales, account management, consulting, or admissions
- Experience in the dance industry, either as a former dancer or employee of a dance-related company
- Results-oriented mindset with excellent prioritization and multitasking skills
- Experience managing and leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs, ClickUp) and CRM software (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce)
