Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at ARK Solutions, Inc. as a Customer Support Technician. This role requires a strong background in software and hardware support, with the ability to provide technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for software and hardware products, including troubleshooting and resolving routine technical service and equipment problems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge databases and call tracking systems to enhance problem resolution quality.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to share information and assist with calls.
  • Monitor Service Desk queues and resolve support tickets as assigned.
  • Document work performed and resolution(s) for future reference.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge of basic to moderately complex hardware and software products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including operating systems, Office suite, and Outlook in a networked environment.
  • Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on various manufacturers of audio video equipment.
  • Ability to plan, organize, manage, and track projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with iPhone and Android Smartphones.
  • Experience with audio video presentation equipment, including basic room setup and design.
