We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to lead our residential operations at Wallick Communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging community environment, ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and resident-centric service.
  • Occupancy Management: Maintain optimal occupancy levels (minimum 98%) through effective marketing, leasing, and retention strategies.
  • Move-Out Process: Ensure seamless move-out processes, adhering to governing regulations and company standards.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular unit inspections, annual, and housekeeping inspections, and audit resident files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Management: Collect and process all monies due to the community, including rent, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Community Relations: Foster positive relationships with community owners, residents, and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit timely reports to government agencies, administrators, and the company, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in residential property management, with HUD/Section 8 experience a plus; or 3+ years of experience in a general manager position or similar role with exceptional people leadership and process management experience.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams; experience with Yardi or similar platforms a plus.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Highly analytical with strong financial acumen, engaged in work, and a strong communicator.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required.
