Position Overview:

At FL28, SYNERGY HomeCare of Apopka, we are dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We are currently seeking a Care Scheduling Specialist who embodies our mission of delivering compassionate and personalized support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate caregiver assignments with clients, ensuring effective communication among all parties involved.
  • Maintain and update caregiver availability, including time off for vacations and sick leave.
  • Assess and document the skills and qualifications of caregivers to facilitate optimal client-caregiver matches.
  • Provide guidance to new caregiver hires regarding the scheduling process.
  • Foster strong relationships with both caregivers and clients through regular communication.
  • Monitor daily visit schedules to ensure all shifts are adequately covered.
  • Address any changes or cancellations in caregiver or client schedules promptly.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and client care meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve caregiver-related issues effectively.
  • Prepare weekly reports detailing scheduling activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare or home care settings is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Google Suite and Excel.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software or CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent time management and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual candidates (English-Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
