Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the staffing schedule for nursing personnel.
  • Prepare daily staffing reports.
  • Engage with staff to fulfill daily staffing needs.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for shifts, vacancies, and scheduled time off as directed by the Nursing Director.
  • Compile and submit daily nursing hours reports to the Executive Director/LNHA.
  • Monitor daily nursing hours to comply with PPD standards and maintain accurate logs of daily and monthly PPD.
  • Communicate daily with admissions regarding patient census and status updates.
  • Review daily employee punch reports, verify hours worked, correct discrepancies, and identify patterns.
  • Contribute to innovative healthcare solutions by developing and implementing new ideas and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred but not mandatory. At least one year of relevant experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings is desirable.
  • Must demonstrate qualifications, compassion, and a commitment to excellence in performance.
