About the Role:

  • We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off policy, group life insurance, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, pre-tax commuter benefits, and 403(b) retirement with discretionary employer match.
  • You will work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 5-21 years old, providing treatment plans and supervision, communication and administration support, and developing appropriate plans for students being supported.
  • We require a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, current New York State OT license to practice, and experience working with people with autism highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Treatment Plans & Supervision
  • Direct service according to a written treatment plan/IEP that you develop.
  • Recommend modification of treatment approaches to reflect the student's changing needs.
  • Develop appropriate plans for students being supported.
  • Provide collaborative education and supervision services to promote best practices and professional growth to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Communication & Administration
  • Communicate and interact with other team members, school personnel, and families.
  • Develop and maintain a daily schedule, which includes sites, students/classrooms, and other activities/duties.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility, while working cooperatively with supervisors and other employees.
