Autism Support Specialist

QSAC, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and adults with autism, as well as their families. Our mission is to provide person-centered services that promote independence, socialization, and community integration.
Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a crucial role in assisting individuals with autism, while adhering to established treatment plans. The DSP must prioritize the health, safety, and emotional well-being of the individuals they support.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the physical and emotional safety of individuals
* Develop and maintain relationships with individuals and their families
* Promote independence through daily living skills and socialization
* Implement and adhere to treatment plans
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Experience working with individuals with autism highly preferred
* Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred
Salary and Benefits
* Competitive salary: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
