QSAC, Inc. is committed to supporting children and adults with autism in achieving their full potential. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct instructional services to students in our autism program.

Your responsibilities will include working under the supervision of a certified teacher to guide students in various instruction settings, collect data on student performance, and implement individualized education plans. You will also support students in developing their recreational, motor, vocational, socialization, and communication skills.

To succeed in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years of experience in a school setting, and the ability to safely lift individuals and heavy objects. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with students, teachers, and other staff members.

 

**Job Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years' work experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb. items
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
