We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team at Children's Hospital & Medical Center. As a key member of our revenue cycle department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.

About the Job:

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical nursing, with a focus on intensive care/med surg experience in a pediatric setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS codes, regulatory guidelines, and hospital billing procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of patient medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and correct errors or discrepancies in patient billing
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical documentation
  • Provide education and training to hospital staff on proper billing requirements

What We Offer:

Children's Hospital & Medical Center offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Schedule:

Full-time schedule, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing required
