Job Overview

Access Dx laboratory, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory services.

Job Responsibilities
  • We are looking for someone who can arrange daily activities based on the urgency of ordered labs and sample stability.
  • The ideal candidate will review lab orders to confirm what labs have been ordered for collection dates.
  • They will verify that lab orders have been signed off by providers prior to collection.
  • We require a professional who can reassure patients and help them relax during the blood collection process.
  • The successful candidate will draw blood using sterilized and approved equipment.
  • They will ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples, as required by the lab, for each test.
  • Our ideal candidate will accurately record patient data on requisition forms and electronic lab orders.
  • They will complete all necessary documentation for samples to be processed at the lab, including test requisition forms, admission records, patient consents, etc.
  • The clinical laboratory specialist will label patient specimens efficiently and pack them for transport or shipping.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the collection area, self, and supplies is crucial.
  • The successful candidate will notify support teams/management when additional supplies are needed.
  • They will communicate with direct management regarding staffing and customer-related concerns.
  • Our ideal candidate will maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines.
  • Professionalism is essential while interacting with clinic staff, patients, and physicians.
