Role Overview:

The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in managing both inbound and outbound communications with customers, addressing inquiries, questions, and concerns. This entry-level position operates under the guidance of a Coach and Supervisor, focusing on delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers and insurance agents to request or provide necessary documentation, proof of insurance, and payment information.
  • Handle calls in a professional manner within a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Utilize available resources to research and provide accurate information.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Loan Protector's offerings.
  • Process urgent payments, insurance documents, and claims efficiently.
  • Identify and prioritize high-priority issues, ensuring immediate attention or escalation.
  • Conduct follow-up calls as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Document interactions and resolve call center work orders effectively.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required; some college education is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or a call center setting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of insurance practices is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptability and capability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Customer service orientation with excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
