Job Title: Staff Accountant I

Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized Staff Accountant I to join our Live Nation Concerts division. This role will be focused on supporting the Accounts Payable team at the regional level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all A/P processing tasks, including organizing invoices, filing, reviewing and securing authorization for invoice payments, checking invoices for proper coding and entering invoices into Oracle and Captiva.
  • Answer inquiries from vendors concerning open A/P items.
  • Follow up and resolve open A/P credit items with vendors.
  • Perform weekly review of manual check log to ensure all possible checks have been entered into Oracle.
  • Input manual checks into the A/P system.
  • Input outgoing wires into the A/P system.
  • Collect overpayments made to vendors.
  • Support senior accountant inquiries regarding wires, AP & show checks.
  • Support senior accountants in recording all tax withholdings.
  • Scan all manual checks and support to save in shared drive.
  • Daily Positive Pay preparation.
  • One person will consolidate and upload daily positive pay.
  • Entering manual checks (two-step entering invoice and clearing payment).
  • Maintaining checks log.
  • Vendor set ups.
  • Amnesty checks set ups.
  • Maintain check status tracker.
  • Regional assistance with immediate pay needs.
  • Regional assistance with chasing support/backup.
  • Credit Applications.
  • Regional assistance research aged outstanding checks/reissues.
  • Regional assistance with AP research.
  • Perform any and all processes required for AP review at EOM.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned (i.e. pushdown accounting entries from Ticketmaster, in-house box office entries).
  • Assist with completion of flash P&Ls and show reconciliations as deemed necessary.
  • Assist senior accountant with accounting duties to support close as deemed necessary.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience, Oracle experience helpful.
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • College Degree with accounting/finance coursework and/or major preferred.
