As we continue to grow, we seek an experienced Accounts Receivable Representative to join our dynamic Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team and play a key role in optimizing our financial operations.

Job Purpose: The Accounts Receivable Representative will manage the timely and efficient collection of outstanding patient and insurance balances for assigned centers. This role is critical to supporting revenue cycle goals and ensuring effective claims and denials processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize AR Collection and Management: Ensure AR days remain under 35 for assigned centers to support revenue cycle goals.
  • Manage outstanding accounts to keep AR over 90 days at less than 15% of total AR.
  • Efficient Claims and Denials Processing: Process at least 40 claims per day.
  • Address denials, appeals, and correspondence within 48 business hours to prevent delays and optimize cash flow.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Collaborate effectively with co-workers to drive cross-functional success.
  • Build and maintain trust with ASC staff and key stakeholders, contributing to a survey satisfaction score of 9/10.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) operations.
  • Prior ASC experience is required.
  • Experience with denial management, HIPAA compliance, and patient accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with the HST Pathways practice management system is preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and process optimization skills.
