Job OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY

This role is crucial for the effective daily execution of policies, protocols, and initiatives that guarantee a well-maintained facility. The focus is on promptly addressing the concerns and requirements of the organization while ensuring environmental health and safety standards are upheld. This is a proactive role that orchestrates the activities, vendors, and workforce necessary for the current and future demands of the facility, all while adhering to time, quality, and budget constraints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, oversee, and manage all elements of the facilities operations, which may encompass maintenance, equipment, machinery, construction, spatial organization, office services, leased properties, furnishings, and security measures.
  • Plan, budget, and coordinate facility modifications and relocations, including cost projections, bidding documents, layouts, and contracts for construction and procurement.
  • Ensure that all interior space requirements, building layouts, architectural features, corporate environment needs, aesthetics, departmental work necessities, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) specifications are consistently fulfilled and optimized.
  • Engage in negotiations for service agreements with external vendors.
  • Guarantee that projects are finalized within the specified timeframes and budgetary limits.
  • Establish and uphold safety, security, and emergency protocols.
  • Ensure that maintenance requirements for the facility are consistently met.
  • Respond swiftly to facility-related concerns and ensure effective resolutions.
  • Stay informed about current regulations to effectively manage compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), fire safety codes, and hazardous material management.
  • Adhere to company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, encompassing design, construction, build-out, interiors, branding, space planning, maintenance, and custodial development.
  • Maintain an understanding of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, and methodologies related to space planning and optimization.
  • Extensive experience in vendor negotiations and management.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence various business partners at all levels.
  • High level of customer service orientation.
  • Proven history of resolving complex business challenges and making sound decisions.
  • Prior experience in adhering to OSHA and ADA regulations.
  • Knowledgeable in establishing and enforcing safety, emergency, and security protocols.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Experience with sustainable design or energy efficiency methods.
