We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Rock Hill School District 3. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
  • Read and interpret safety protocols, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-directed and self-motivated work habits
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Interact with staff, students, and the public in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; at least 5 years of work experience preferred
  • Ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility
  • Working knowledge of the trade and experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: heating/air, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
  • Skill in interpersonal relations and outstanding references from current and former supervisors
  • Satisfactory background check and SLED report
