Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in leading a customer success or account management division, overseeing managers and team members.
  • A proven history of implementing performance analysis processes (KPIs).
  • Expertise in Net Dollar Retention (NDR) and client retention strategies.
  • A successful track record of establishing systems that support the entire client lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal and upselling.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a remote-first environment.

  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Essential Qualifications:
The successful candidate will align with Axios HQ's mission and values, demonstrating the following qualifications:
  • Over 3 years of experience managing a customer success or account management team within a growing SaaS startup.
  • Experience in driving client-side revenue growth exceeding 110% NDR annually.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with CRM and sales tools to inform strategic decisions.
  • A history of establishing and achieving performance analysis processes and revenue forecasting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams.
  • The ability to influence product development based on customer insights.
  • Proven success in managing hybrid and remote teams.
  • A track record of mentoring and developing team members at various career stages.
  • A passion for driving retention and revenue initiatives, showcasing both leadership and hands-on capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits:
Axios HQ is committed to equitable compensation. The annual on-target earnings for this role range from $250,000 to $275,000, influenced by various factors including experience and skills. Benefits include:
