At Henrico Doctors' Hospital, our Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses engage in specialized procedures within the outpatient setting. Responsibilities include:

  • Transporting patients to and from the Cath Lab while performing and documenting care for all admissions and recovery room patients.
  • Actively participating in ongoing education relevant to the unit.
  • Effectively communicating both verbal and written information, instructions, or education to patients, family members, and other healthcare team members as appropriate.
  • Managing all phases of the digital/filmless CD system.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in ICU/CCU or comparable ER, cath lab, or recovery settings.
