Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse in our Transitional Cardiac Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a 12-bed telemetry unit, typically maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3. Your duties will include:
- Administering medications and performing clinical procedures.
- Monitoring vital signs and interpreting telemetry data.
- Coordinating patient care and discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Educating patients and their families about care plans and procedures.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a Compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
