Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the daily operations of our salon's front desk, manage and schedule reception and stylist assistant staff, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client bookings, payments, and inquiries, as well as developing and implementing sales techniques to promote salon services and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the salon's front desk, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients.
  • Staff Management: Manage, schedule, and train reception and stylist assistant staff to ensure excellent customer service and a high level of professionalism.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Client Management: Handle client bookings, payments, and inquiries with proficiency in salon management software.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales techniques to promote salon services and products, and create engaging content to manage the salon's social media platforms.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and order front desk supplies as needed.
  • Reception Area Maintenance: Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Develop and oversee marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to increase visibility and attract new clients.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales figures, monitor client feedback, and report on front desk productivity to the owner.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the owner and other team members to set and reach sales targets and business goals.

Requirements:

  • Managerial Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a salon/spa environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, including POS software and Microsoft Office Suite. Meevo Salon booking system will be trained.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies.
  • Sales Mindset: Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and keep yourself motivated in a slower paced environment.
  • Budgeting Experience: Experience in creating and managing a budget is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work during peak salon hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a customer service management role.
  • Certification: Certification or experience in beauty industry management is highly desirable.
