Job Title: Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Construction Risk Partners LLC. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, managing their insurance needs, and ensuring their policies are accurately and effectively presented to the markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide service to clients by addressing their needs and delegating tasks to the internal BRP team as needed.
  • Handle marketing of client policies as they come up for renewal or as new policies are required to be placed.
  • Work with the internal BRP team to manage Expiring Policy database as renewals arise.
  • Assist with training Account Manager and Assistant Account Manager.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate Degree or Technical/Trade School required; Undergraduate/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ Years in Construction/Residential Insurance Brokerage at a level of Sr. Account Management with client interfacing responsibility required; 7-10+ Years in Construction/Residential Insurance Brokerage preferred.
  • Certification(s): None required; None preferred.
  • License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Technical Coverage understanding would be very beneficial.
  • Client facing skills/experience is necessary.
  • Demonstrates the organization's core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm's culture.
Technical, Computer, and System-Specific Skills:
  • Typical computer skills as used in the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary.

  • Fast paced multi-tasking environment.
