Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Benefits Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our benefits team, you will be responsible for coordinating benefit plans, communicating with clients and employees, and ensuring accurate benefit elections.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate informational meetings and distribute necessary documentation.
  2. Enter benefit information and elections into relevant systems.
  3. Make changes to benefit elections in multiple software platforms.
  4. Compile and scan benefit billing reconciliations.
  5. Assist employees and clients with enrollment forms and ensure accuracy.
  6. Provide general administrative support to the benefits department and HR team.
  7. Perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  1. 1 year of benefits experience.
  2. High school diploma or GED; some college preferred but not required.
  3. Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines and strong focus on pressing issues.
  4. Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefits laws.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
