Job Title: Human Resources Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Administrator to support our growing team at Grow Sciences. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, employee records management, compliance, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist with job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
    • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
    • Facilitate new hire onboarding process, including paperwork and orientation logistics.
  • Employee Records Management:
    • Maintain and update employee records, both physical and electronic.
    • Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Support administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments and terminations.
    • Assist employees with benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with external vendors to manage benefit plans effectively.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
    • Assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current legislation.
    • Support compliance efforts related to employment laws and regulations.
    • Help organize and participate in audits and investigations as needed.
  • HR Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review.
    • Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining supplies.
    • Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Google Apps for Business (especially Sheets and Docs).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work Environment:
  • This job is based in Phoenix, AZ.
  • Occasional remote work may be permissible at times with the right candidate.
  • Regular business hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Paid as a 1099 Contractor
  • Hourly Rate is $25-30/hr
  • We estimate 10-15 hours per week as a baseline
