Position Overview

United Community & Family Services, Inc. is in search of a Part-time (20 hours) Supervisor of Family Recovery Programs to oversee program management and provide clinical guidance, including the administration of grants and funding sources for a comprehensive clinical treatment initiative. This program primarily serves young children and their parents who are in recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ongoing program operations, ensuring compliance with service contract requirements; assist in the development and monitoring of the program/department budget; facilitate program data reporting; support the preparation of contracts and grant proposals.
  • Deliver continuous clinical oversight and supervision, available for staff consultation and crisis intervention at all times; organize and lead clinical team meetings; evaluate counseling and clinical interventions, maintain mandated records, and oversee treatment plans; assess team performance against established outcome standards.
  • Supervise daily activities, staff performance, and operational workflows; manage scheduling, quality assurance, productivity, and attendance; conduct personnel actions such as interviewing, training, and performance evaluations; act as a communication link between staff and the organization.
  • Act as a liaison for the program, contracts, and community; participate in case conferences and program meetings at various levels as directed; collaborate with funding sources to assess service delivery and outcomes; coordinate interdepartmental processes and improvements; engage in community events and organizational meetings.
  • Ensure program adherence to ongoing technical support and quality assurance from model developers.
  • Stay informed about current trends and clinical practices, including evidence-based methods, to facilitate future implementation within the organization, which may involve research and development of sustainability plans.
  • Enhance professional development for staff and self through in-service education, staying updated on industry changes, and conducting annual credential reviews alongside performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
  • A minimum of six to seven years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role (educational/experience equivalency may be considered in exceptional cases)
  • Current certification as a Connecticut LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • A valid Connecticut driver's license is required
  • COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
