Ecumen Pathstone is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment / Activity Assistant to join our team. As a Life Enrichment / Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement Life Enrichment programming that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This may include planning and leading group activities, outings, and events that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation. You will also be responsible for transporting residents to and from activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. In addition, you will maintain accurate records of resident participation and provide regular updates to the care team. If you are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment for older adults, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with individual and group activities, transport residents, and notify them of upcoming events.
  • Encourage and assure resident participation in recreational activities according to their individual needs and plan of care.
  • Document resident participation and provide regular updates to the care team.
  • Maintain supplies and notify the supervisor of any needs in a timely manner.
  • Monitor daily and monthly calendars of events, outings, and other recreational opportunities for residents.

Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility.
  • Previous experience caring for seniors is preferred.
